“Chinese Dragons, British Lions” Exhibition Opening Ceremony
On 6 April 2016, “Chinese Dragons, British Lions” exhibition opening ceremony was successfully held at Department of Sociology in the University of Hong Kong. This is the first of a series of exhibition and events organised by The British Chinese Armed Forces Heritage (BCAFH) Project. The BCAFH project is funded by the UK’s Heritage Fund and collaborated by Ming Ai (London) Institute and Regent’s University London, aims to uncover the unparalleled contribution that Chinese military servicemen have made to the British Armed Forces througout the 19th and 20th Centuries.

The exhibition charts the Chinese contribution to the British Armed Forces, with particular focus on The Chinese Labour Corps of World War One and the Battle of Hong Kong in World War Two. The exhibition also showcase a selection of participants interviewed for the British Chinese Armed Forces Heritage Project.
