Ming Shen Cheung was born in 1969. He was enlisted in 1989 and had served for six years and nine months.

After completing the military training as a recruit, he was assigned to the Dragon Company as a regimental policeman. In the barrack, he was responsible for guarding the entrance and to deal with any security issue. Outside the barrack, he partook in anti-riot drills and different kinds of jungle training in the wild.

In 1995, Cheung retired from the army as the British Army in Hong Kong was about to be disbanded. Cheung left the army once he successfully secured a job position. Now he works in one of the uniformed forces under the Hong Kong Disciplined Services.
