Man Chun Wong was born in Hong Kong in 1972. He was enlisted in 1992 when he finished his high school study. He had served for five years in total.
After completing his military training as a recruit in the Training Depot, Lyemun Barrack, he served in the Dragon Company as a regimental policeman where he developed two useful, life-longed habits: discipline and the awareness of self-protection; both have been proved beneficial throughout the rest of his life. When Wong took part in the training in Nepal that lasted for seven days, he was given an opportunity to handle weapons that he normally won’t be available to do so in Hong Kong, an experience that has broadened his horizons.
In 1997, the transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong to China led up to the disbandment of Hong Kong Military Service Corp. Before he retired from the Corp, he had joined the rehabilitation courses provided by the army. After he left the army, he worked as a security guard and now he is a crane controller.
