Dr Diana Yeh is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Winchester. A former holder of the Sociological Review Fellowship, her research interests lie in race/ethnicity, migration, diaspora and culture. She is author of The Happy Hsiungs: Performing China and the Struggle for Modernity (Hong Kong University Press, 2014) and has presented her research on BBC Radio Four, and at institutions such as the Royal Geographical Society, the Wellcome Trust, National Portrait Gallery and Tate Britain.
