Mr Yew Chang 張耀先生

Mr Yew Chang, aged 91, was a sailor when he first arrived in the UK in 1941. Later in the 1950s, he joined the Chinese catering industry in London. In this Cantonese interview, Mr Chang introduced briefly the Chinese immigrants in the UK, and illustrated how life in London has been changed, especially with some details of the Chinese catering industry. He also compared the situation of British Chinese in the mid 20th century to nowadays.
